Team Lead Traffic (Logistics, Full time)

As our Traffic Team Lead, your mission is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Traffic Team and improve the quality. The key to unlocking this is building and maintaining a trusting relationship with our suppliers and building a collaborative relationship. You’ll be easing out any challenges and creating a great working environment to unlock the full potential of our Traffic Team. The Traffic team manages the connection between our suppliers, carrier partners, our internal Customer Experience team, and our teams in Rotterdam.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Traffic Team (10 team members) in our Valencia office. Together you’ll work on preventing supplier issues and proactively identifying alternative solutions. You will be the escalation point for the Traffic team. You are hands-on, passionate, have a high level of ownership, and are obsessed with process optimization and employee skill development. You’ll report to our CX Manager.

What you do:

  • Manage an international team;

  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes to support the team’s scaling;

  • Own the performance delivery of the Traffic targets / KPIs;

  • Measure and support the team’s overall performance;

  • Serve as an escalation point to the team;

  • Develop the team’s knowledge through training sessions;

  • Facilitate cooperation and training with another department;

  • Ensure even distribution of the workload;

  • Build strong relationships with each of your teammates. And most importantly you will have fun doing this all together.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • You have experience with managing a team at a growing tech company;

  • You are fluent in English;

  • More European languages will be a plus!;

  • You have fantastic communication skills with experience coaching and motivating a team;

  • You have process optimization skills;

  • You are confident, energetic, passionate, a real go-getter, and thrive on change;

  • You are a real team player and true addition to our great team;

  • You are extremely ambitious: if you don't want to grow as fast as we do, you will never fit in. We raise our bars high;

  • You are looking for a position that is full-time and early hours (from 7:30 am);

  • Flexible availability.
