Community Matters at HelloPrint
And it’s not just words. In the last years, we’ve seen our volunteering hours multiply, our projects expand, and our people bring ideas that have real-world impact.

And it’s not just words. In the last years, we’ve seen our volunteering hours multiply, our projects expand, and our people bring ideas that have real-world impact.
Our volunteering projects are as diverse as our team:
Post-DANA Relief Efforts – our team joined the local relief efforts after the floodings that hit Valencia.
Cooking at Ronald McDonald Houses – preparing warm meals for families who needed comfort the most.
Beach Cleanups – where teammates turned a sunny Saturday into a mission for a cleaner coast.
Bingo with the Elderly – laughter, stories, and connection across generations.
Foodbank Support in Rotterdam where our team help run the store (Voedselbank).
Dog Walking – helping shelters by giving their furry residents much-needed exercise and love. That’s also how one furry HelloPrinter joined our family. During a shelter activity, Quinten adopted Momo, a stray cat who now lives happily with his new family.
Walks with the Elderly – bringing company, conversation, and joy into lives that often feel too quiet.

In September 2024, Valencia and its surrounding towns were struck by a DANA: a devastating storm system that brought torrential rain, flooded streets, and damaged homes, schools, and businesses. Many HelloPrinters were personally affected, yet instead of standing still, the entire office came together supporting communities like Paiporta and nearby areas. Some cooked meals, others cleaned streets and houses, and many helped organise donations and supplies for those in need.

After the DANA floods in Valencia, Sorcha volunteered almost every day for a month, helping families across the most affected areas. She supported cleanup efforts, delivered supplies, and built strong connections with local residents. When she met an elderly couple whose home had been destroyed, she rallied the HelloPrint team to raise funds and buy new appliances for them.
This heartfelt action became the spark for Ambassadors for Good: an initiative that empowers any HelloPrinter with an idea to support a cause or volunteering project, with the company’s full backing.

From 342 in 2023 to an incredible 527 hours of volunteering in 2024. Supporting food banks, Ronald McDonald Houses, and joining World Cleanup Day.

During Inspire Festival, we launched our first international volunteering programme. Giving two HelloPrinters the opportunity to spend one month in South Africa supporting local communities.
We opened an internal application process for HelloPrinters interested in taking part in our first international volunteering experience. After a careful selection, Benji and Jolien were chosen to represent HelloPrint in Thamsanqa, South Africa. There, they spent a month supporting the local community through activities like sports, theatre, arts and crafts, coaching, and mentoring young children.
