Senior Frontend Engineer | Valencia or Rotterdam

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer to help us craft seamless, high-performing experiences across our ecommerce platforms. Based in our office in either Valencia or Rotterdam, you’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers, and bring our ambitious product vision to life.

As a Front-End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for turning designs and ideas into fast, intuitive, and pixel-perfect experiences. From checkout flows to dashboards, your work directly impacts thousands of customers every day. At HelloPrint, front-end isn’t just about code: it’s about performance, usability, and building with scale in mind.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain high-quality front-end features with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn concepts into functional, polished features.

• Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design standards.

• Work closely with backend engineers to design robust APIs and data flows.

• Continuously improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of our front-end applications.

• Contribute to our component libraries and design systems to keep quality and consistency high.

• Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and bring ideas to raise the bar in front-end engineering.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of professional experience in front-end engineering.

• Strong skills in React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Proven experience in building performant, scalable, and responsive interfaces.

• Knowledge of testing practices (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

• Familiarity with modern tooling and workflows (Webpack, Vite, GitHub Actions, CI/CD).

• Growth mindset: proactive, curious, and eager to experiment with new approaches.

• AI-first thinking: comfortable using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, design-to-code) to accelerate development.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with content platforms (Contentful, Sanity) or multi-brand architectures.

• Familiarity with GraphQL and API design.

• Exposure to design systems and UI/UX best practices.

• Hands-on with performance, accessibility, or end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Background in ecommerce or SaaS environments.
