Role overview

As a Project Management Intern at weVLC, you will assist in managing renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Your role will focus on selecting the right contractors, obtaining competitive quotations, optimizing project timelines, and preparing detailed reports for investors. You will work closely with the Head of Real Estate to oversee the renovation process and provide strategic support in decision-making and project execution.

What you will be doing

• Renovation management: Assist in managing all aspects of renovation projects, from planning to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Partner selection: Research and select the right contractors and service providers for each project, ensuring the best fit for quality and budget.

• Quotations and budgeting: Request and compare quotations, negotiate terms, and contribute to budget planning for each project.

• Timeline optimization: Collaborate with the partners to develop and implement strategies to optimize project timelines and meet deadlines.

• Investor reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to investors, including project updates, financial summaries, and progress insights.

• Communication and coordination: Act as a point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.

• Quality assurance: Monitor on-site progress and ensure work adheres to the agreed standards and specifications.

This is how we imagine you:

• Enrolled in your final year of studies, which allows you to do an internship

• Fully fluent at a professional level in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Analytical mindset with experience or interest in reviewing quotations and budgets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for communicating with the team and with external partners.

• Prior experience or internship in project management, real estate, construction, or a related field is an advantage.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven, with a strong ability to work collaboratively.
